Special Announcement
In December I was awarded a 2008 regional artist project grant from the NC
Arts Council to attend a photography workshop at Penland School of Crafts in July.
I have been asked to participate in a panel discussion about digital vs. analog (wet)
photography, February 23 at Piedmont Craftsmen Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC.
So far, this year (2008) my work has been accepted into 4 international juried photo
shows in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas and Virginia.
In September 2007, twenty photographs were purchased by Credit Suisse First Boston
for their corporate collection. The pieces are on permanent display at their Global
Business Center located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Listen to my recent interview on http://www.thecandidframe.com conducted by Ibarionex Perello, a
California-based photographer and photography instructor. Look in the podcast archives for interview
number 39, from August 2007.
As of May 2007, seven of my photographs have been accepted into the permanent collection of North Carolina
State University’s Gregg Museum of Art and Design.
